GOOD MORNING MONDAY- AFFIRMATIVE THOUGHTS FOR A GREATWEEK

Good Morning. It is Monday!Today is the “official” first day of Fall. The days get shorter, the air gets cool and crisp, the sun is a “different kind of warm” and nature begins to explode with its beautiful expression of change, transformation, and its magnificent, colorful tapestry.Fall is a season of transformation; not only in nature, but also can be a time for personal reflection and transformation for each of us.

Consider the beautiful change and transformation that the trees undergo each fall. They completely transform themselves to create a breathtaking display of colors. They step into a type of a full expression of self, and then, they will “let go” of their leaves and start again from nothing. For the tree there will be another type of rebirth and through each transformative step (and season) they grow closer and closer to the sky.Trees flow with each season’s fluidity. They stay grounded to their core being; and are they are deeply rooted every step of the way.

WHAT LESSONS CAN WE LEARN FROM THE TREE?

HOW IS THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE TREE LIKE TRANSFORMATIONS WE MAY GO THROUGH IN OUR LIFE?

Monday Motivation - September 23, 2019 (4)

Each of us experience many transformations and seasons in our lifetime. As you experience change and transformation in your life, what if your mindset was“beauty is unfolding through each of your change experiences?”Having this mindset might help you stay grounded and connected to your roots and your foundation. So,when you are experiencing change in your life, visualize the transformation of the tree. This reminder and visualmight help you be “unshaken”knowing that change and transformation will not destroy you but will prepare you for a sort of rebirth that will bring you closer to your sky (dreams, aspirations, goals, desires).

Take a minute to reflecton the transformation of nature and ask yourself, “is there anything in my life right now that is nudging me toward change?”If so, don’t fear. Remember, change is the only constant in life. Every minute, every day, every week through every experience you have; you are changing. True, change brings uncertainty and it can be scary; but it is a natural part of life and the change you may be entering brings growth and transformation to help you reach your“sky”.

If there is some change you desire, or some change that is happening for you in your life right now; know that you are equipped to meet this change. Change means growth. Follow the path of the strong, sturdy, persevering tree.Visualize how stunning the tree looks when it is going through its change and transformation.Say to yourself, “my transformation; my change can be just as beautiful”.

If you are experiencing a changeright now, below are some stepsadapted from Rhett Power’s, “6 Crucial Steps for a Powerful Personal Transformation”that might helpyou as you experience this cycle of life.

  • Write down what you want. What is your goal? What great things will happen because of this change?
  • Take one step at a time.Change is a process. You will make BIG changes by taking steps every day towards your goal.
  • Learn from others.Adopt habits that helped them reach their goal.
  • Be willing to be uncomfortable.Change can be uncomfortable. If you begin to feel fear, reframe your thoughts.Frame your brain for positive. Tell yourself about the possibilities you will experience as a result of this change.

Awesome - lessons from trees, let dead things go. So much truth that removal of “dead” limbs can be painful but it yields more growth and life.Great perspective to start this week!
